I've been meaning to draw Indy ever since I saw the movies when I was 8 years old... Never have 'till now. I know that the hat and the jacket need some work, but I was focussing on the face, mostly the expression and the detail of the skin. This is my first attempt on realism when it comes to people. I really need to learn how to shade clothing...

I did NOT draw this from scratch! I found a picture for reference.

That's amazing!!

I actually think that the jacket and shirt are best in this picture, there's a texture to them that isn't in the face. You got the shading perfectly all over, though. :meow:

How 'xactly did you make this, and how long did it take???

I took a picture from google and used that as a reference. When I was in grade school, I copied pictures all the time because I knew that would help me become a better automotive designer in the future. It's important in the engineering industry to have a keen eye towards other people's detail in their designs. For this picture, I basically did the same thing. I guess I just got really good at it :giggle:.
All in all, this took about 4-5 hours. Not too long.
